PCD & PCBN tool processing industry

PCBN is made primarily of high-hardness Ferrous, such as hardened and cast steel (iron) and Powder metallurgy, and is resistant to high temperatures (above 1,000 degrees C) , it is a better tool material for improving production efficiency and machining difficult-to-machine materials. However, the material is not suitable for processing steel below 45HRC, easy to produce adhesive wear, cracking.

PCD is mainly used for machining Non-ferrous metal and non-metal parts. It can sharpen the edges and obtain a good surface finish of 0.2, it has high wear resistance, low friction, high hardness up to 10000HV, and can be used for cutting hard alloy and industrial ceramics.
